If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

There Is No Room For Hyphenated Americanism

 Theodore Roosevelt
Address to the Knights of Columbus
New York City- October 12th, 1915
There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all.”
“This is just as true of the man who puts “native” before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen. Americanism is a matter of the spirit and of the soul. Our allegiance must be purely to the United States. We must unsparingly condemn any man who holds any other allegiance.”
“But if he is heartily and singly loyal to this Republic, then no matter where he was born, he is just as good an American as any one else.”
The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English- Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian- Americans, or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality than with the other citizens of the American Republic.”
“The men who do not become Americans and nothing else are hyphenated Americans; and there ought to be no room for them in this country. The man who calls himself an American citizen and who yet shows by his actions that he is primarily the citizen of a foreign land, plays a thoroughly mischievous part in the life of our body politic. He has no place here; and the sooner he returns to the land to which he feels his real heart-allegiance, the better it will be for every good American.”

Democratic Racism

Liberals from the far left are constantly attempting to pin the label of racist on Conservatives.  that's been their mantra for the past 20 years.  But, when you examine the history of the Democratic party, it's very, very ugly.

It was Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Democrat, who founded the Ku Klux Klan.

Woodrow Wilson segregated Federal Buildings and jobs after 50 years of integration under largely Republican administrations.

It was the Democrat Party in the South that instituted Jim Crow Laws.

It was the Democrat Party in the South that instituted “separate but equal”.

It was the Democrat Party in the South that supported the Ku Klux Klan.

It was George Wallace and the Democrat Party in the South that said “Segregation Forever”.

It was Orval Faubus and the Democrat Party that wanted the Arkansas National Guard to enforce segregation, and Dwight Eisenhower, a Republican President, that sent the 101st Airborne to integrate the schools.

It was Bull Connor, a member of the Democrat National Committee, who turned the hoses on the marchers in Birmingham, and it was the Republicans who made up the majority that passed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, over the filibuster of such Democrat paragons as William Fulbright and Al Gore Sr. — and Grand Kleagle Byrd.

(And no, the Dixiecrats didn’t join the Republican Party – most of them remained Democrats.)

It was the Democrats who kept Grand Kleagle Byrd in the party.

It was Democrats who called General Colin Powell a “house nigger”.

It was Democrats who called Condi Rice — who grew up with and knew the little girls in Birmingham who were blown up, by Democrats — an “Aunt Jemima” and ran cartoons of her with fat lips doing Hattie McDaniel riffs.

It’s the Democrats who hold annual dinners honoring Andrew Jackson, who owned slaves and who orchestrated the Removal, the Trail of Tears, the near genocide of several of the Indian Nations.

It was Democrats, or at least Obama supporters, who called Stacy Dash a hundred different racist names for daring to leave the Democrat plantaion.
Had GOP Senators not blocked Democratic Senator Robert Byrd's filabuster, the Civil Rights Act would never have passed.  Toss in Liberal's attacks on Mia Love, Stacy Dash, Tamara Mowry-Housely and others...but that's just good fun, right?

Deep in th heart of American Liberalism, is an ugly racist centre.  It's always been at the heart of the Democratic Party, at least since the time of Jackson.   When Liberals run out of things to say, they revert to projection and accuse their opponents of being racists, after all, which party has been a consistent supporter of the civil rights movement...which party freed the slaves?  Which party passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964?  Which party forced through integration of schools?

If you can ask yourself these questions, and answer them truthfully, then you might not be as blind as American Liberals are...

    Obama, The Divisive Racist

In a race bating speech before an audience of all blacks, in 2007 Obama gives a speech that should have sunk his candidacy...

but, with the media in the tank, it was never published. The prepared remarks that were distributed are nothing like what he actually said.

Affirmative Action: Why Isn't The Media Covering This?

Why? Because it would shatter the little glass room that that MSM has built around Affirmative Action and that only white people can be racists...

Video by Rachel Bustamante (originally posted to Facebook).

"Lunatic in my evolution class asking the most absurd question and gets angry when the Prof (Dr. Kajiura) doesn't know how to answer it.

Context: The slide we were on just before was about Female Sexual Selection. For instance, female peacocks have selection in their mates, preferring the males with the bigger train of feathers.. Somehow she went off on some tangent with a question about how does Evolution play a role in the killing of all black people...

Dr. Kajiura tried to answer her question even though he had no idea what she was talking about. She repeated her question 4-5 more times and it turned into this craziness you see here... Clearly, this person has some SERIOUS emotional issues within herself and the discussion of PEACOCKS was the catalyst to the unleashing of this insanity.

She was escorted out of class and I heard she was tasered and arrested by the police. Today was our review day before a test on Thursday and students were getting irritated by her wasting our time. No one understood what her point was... Craziest thing I've ever seen.

Apparently natural selection doesn't remove crazy from the population."

I guess her hope and change just isn't working out as she'd planned.

Obama: It's His Policies, Not His Race

People are upset about Mr. Obama's policies and many, if not most, don't give a damn about his race.  Yet, when the Racers attempt to equate oposition to Mr. Obama to racism, they're merely trying to shout down debate.  Tony Katz hammers Racer Contessa Brewer on this on MSNBC.

    Here's the money Quotes:
CONTESSA BREWER, MSNBC HOST: That’s what a lot of people are saying it’s not a laughing matter. They say that there are questions about him, not because there really are questions about where he is born, but because he is black. […]

KATZ: But this whole idea of race, you know what, if there are birthers and they’re all crazy and silly for actually wanting to see a birth certificate, well let’s talk about the racers, the people who believe that everything is a conspiracy about race. It’s Obama’s race that people want to see the birth certificate. It’s Obama’s race that people don’t like the out of control spending. It’s not his race. It’s that he’s awful. The policies are terrible. ObamaCare is a lie and a failure. QE1 and QE2 didn’t work. It’s crazy.
    ..............
    KATZ: They didn’t say it was race. Everything that comes out of the racers, and they exist – the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Huffington Post”, some people at your very network, and you know I enjoy having these conversations with you. They are so focused. Everything is about race. It’s not about race. When we talk about Obama and the policies, it’s about the awful policies. It’s about the inability to bring down debt. It’s about the inability to tackle the deficit. And when everybody says, “Oh, they’re just after this because of race,” it is nonsense. It’s a way to stop people from having conversation. Political correctness at its worst. If we want to talk about the issues, let’s talk about the issues.  {emphasis is mine, RAV}
That's it, by constantly using the race card, liberals devalue it to meaninglessness.  It's not about Mr. Obama's race, who friggin' cares about that?  Not me.  What I care about is the simple fact that his economic policies, and those of his party are sending this country down the path of financial ruin.  We simply cannot continue to spend money we don't have.  In the past 4 years of Democratic control of Congress and since 2009, of the presidency, they have added 1/3  to nearly 1/2 to the debt.  That's unacceptable.  It took 225 years to reach 7 trillion dollars.  Put only 4 years for Democrats to nearly double that figure.  Four years!

That's utterly unsustainable.  I genuinely hope that Congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling because we simply cannot continue to spend money we don't have.  It's time to pass a balanced budget amendment.  Most states must balance their budgets so must our national government.  In that balanced budget amendment, there must also be provision for a line item veto.

It's Ok To Be Racist if You're Black

In a move that is a signal that it's ok to be a racist if you're black, Tom Vilsack the Sec of Agriculture has offered Shirley Sherrod "a unique position" in the Dept of Agriculture.
The new job offer comes after an embarrassed White House apologized to Sherrod Wednesday for ousting her over her remarks about race to an NAACP banquet in Georgia earlier this year.
So, there you have it.  You can be black and be a racist in America today.

    Dissent Isn't Racism

On Politico.com, Ben Smith has posted a story on the "conversation on race".  But it's very difficult to have that conversation when anyone who opposes your agenda is labeled as a racist.  Here is my comment, number 412.

THere is a "conversation on race" going on, but it consists of the leftist media, and their NGO supporters labelling anyone who opposes Obama as a racist. After that, it's rather difficult to actually have any sort of conversation at all. Once you scream that, you just sort of end any ability to discuss things rationally. NAACP membership, in the Sherrod video, shows that they fully support NOT giving any assistance to someone because they are white...thus ends the conversation.

During the 2008 campaign, the media began to paint anyone who opposed Obama as a racist. They did it, first to Bill Clinton, then to supporters of Hillary C., then to anyone who opposed the One. Last year, during the summer recess, when the Tea Party began to rise, everyone associated with it was labeled a racist. This has continued into this year...when the NAACP passed a resolution labeling the Tea Party Movement as racists. Thus ends the conversation...it's merely a tactic that attempts to marginalize ANYONE who opposes the agenda of Barack Obama and the Democratic Leadership in Congress.

One party media (as opposed to government supported media) that continually pushes a far left socialist agenda, has attempted to destroy anyone who opposes their narrative. It's anti-democratic and will only end up eliminating their "moral authority" to control the narrative. THis is why most (ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC & CNN) new organizations are losing their audience in droves. For much the same reason, print media has been losing subsribers. People won't watch, or buy, media sources that constantly assault their intelligence and that means roughly half of their readership/viewers...
In the present atmosphere in the national, one party media, it's just not possible to have that conversation.  Especially so, when anyone who has legitimate objections to the liberal agenda being rammed through now, is smeared as a racist.  End conversation...

NAACP: If You Oppose Obama, You Are A Racist

Over the past 16 months, it has emerged that  anyone who opposes Barack Obama's agenda, they (and I) are painted as a racist.  Earlier this week, the NAACP passed a measure during their national convention that accuses the Tea Party as a racist organization.  Yesterday, on Big Government.com, just about every single entry was by conservative black Americans.  Does their being conservative make them racists?  What about their being black?  What doest that make them?  Uncle Tom's?  What does this say about the supporters of Mr. Obama?  Are they so desperate to destroy their enemies that they have to paint anyone who opposes the agenda of this president as being racists?

Formerly, using the race card was enough to deligitimize any person or organization.   But, since the 2008 election, the constant use of "the card" has made a mockery of it.
President Bill Clinton was smeared as a racist by the Obama campaign when Hillary Clinton was running for president. It seems that anyone who disagrees with the far left, socialist policies of Barack Obama and the current administration is subject to the heavy hand of the race card.

It seems Mr. Obama's minions are getting desperate...with his poll numbers dropping at a precipitous rate, his chances of retaining control of the House and quite possibly the Senate is rapidly slipping away.  America doesn't really trust government, nor do they want "big government."  His policies will  cost the Democratic Party dearly...
