Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

I Fully Support the War Effort and Democracy in Iraq

The caption says it all...I truly hope that the Democratically controlled congress doesn't force America down the disasterous road to withdrawal from Iraq before the effort is completed...to do so won't be just disasterous...but catostrophic! As it is, our grandchildren will be fighting the "Long War against Terrorism" as it is...but if we run away now...NO ONE will ever trust or support us again...think about it...

The Difference Twixt Liberal & Conservative Blogosphere

The real difference between a liberal mindset and a conservative mindset...

The left tends to consider itself as a "movement" and thus to look for those who stray from the progressive path. To want to produce conformity of message and inflict discipline upon those who don't harp fully to a liberal mindset and considers someone who disagrees with them as being stupid. There are of course exceptions to every rule.

The conservative side of the blogosphere on the otherhand seems to be more inclusive accepting differences on some points and linking to those that agree...or even looking for "converts" to their view and accepting that someone might have a different viewpoint on other issues.
