The truly distressing thing is how the MSM is still trying to shield him from taking responsibility for his utter failure.  Not only did he fail them on that night...but instead of actually trying to do something substantive in retaliation, we went to a fundraiser.  When a president puts his reelection campaign above the lives of those for whom he is responsible, he is showing he is unfit to hold the highest office of this nation. 

The MSM is only undermining it's already thin credibility with America by continuing the charade that they are impartial in this election.  They have become, to quote Glenn Reynolds, "Democratic Operatives, with a byline."

If the current administration won't admit what they knew and when they knew it...then the Romney administration can do so, and then fully prosecute those who broke faith with America, both in this disaster, and in Fast & Furious...

Coast Guard Head Claims He Didn't Know Oil Boom Was Available

In yet another signal that this administration is attempting to use the Gulf Oil leak for politically prohibiting future oil drilling off our shores, the head of the US Coast Guard, Admiral Thad Allen said he didn't know it was available: 

Jake Tapper, ABC: I talked to a guy who runs a company in Maine that offers boom, and he has — he says — the ability to make 90,000 feet of boom a day. High quality. BP came there 2 weeks ago, looked at it, they are doing another audit today. He is very frustrated, he says he has a lot of high quality boom to go and it is taking a long time for BP to get its act together. Don’t you need this boom right now?

Allen: Oh we need all the boom wherever we can get it. If you give me the information off camera I’ll be glad to follow up.

The letter states that the company had advised the Admiral on May 21 that they had miles and miles of the boom available for deployment...this adminstration is incompetent and that incompetence has begun to filter down...what is most troubling of all is that all the Enviro NGO's have been notably silent on how badly Mr. Obama and his administration has screwed up this effort.
