NPR's Hypocrisy

They hypocrisy of NPR knows no bounds.  On Friday, Nina Tottenberg said that

I am already afraid, very afraid. I mean, it’s not like governance has been going great. I think we’ll, I don't know whether I should be afraid, but there will be gridlock.

She didn't say this on NPR itself, she said it on "Inside Washington," a television program.  Her co-panelist, Evan Thomas of Newsweek, said,

No, but they might look on it as kind of a joke. There is sort of a circus aspect to it that people, it’s become comic and a kind of a dark way. You know, Krugman is a professional doomsayer. So, you have to take that with a grain of salt. But obviously the political system’s a mess.

Just two years ago, when America elected as president, a man with no experience beyond voting present 100 times in the Illinois Senate, his election was held up as a shining example of democracy in action.  Yet, when his, and his party's policies have visibly worsened the dire economic situation...those self same liberal pundits exclaim upon how afraid they are.  The hypocrisy in this from NPR is palpable.  Ms. Tottenberg, if using the example of Juan Williams, should now be terminated from her position as a "reporter."  After all, Mr. Williams was fired for voicing his fears...and he's an analyst.
