I really like Steven, he's funny but at the same times offers up insightful views of current political events. If he were anything but a conservative, he'd have his own TV show...a la "Bill Maher"...but since he's not, he's stuck on FoxNews and"> youtube.com .

NPR's Firing of Juan Williams Was Racially Motivated

Brit Hume, a Fox News analyst assertst that NPR's firing of Juan Williams was racially motivated.

"In the culture of NPR, appearing on Fox is a sin," Hume said on "Fox News Sunday," with regular panelist Williams sitting a few seats away. "And in the culture of NPR, for an African-American man like Juan, regardless of his personal stature, to be there and be kind of a Bill Cosby liberal, not a down-the-line liberal, is a sin as well. They’ve been gunning for him for years."

I'd have to agree, especially after NPR CEO, Vivian Schiller's comment in Atlanta that Mr. Williams's appearances on Fox were between him and his psychiatrist.  She later "appologized" for that statement.
