If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Hypocrisy Alert: Obama Supports "Violent Political Rhetoric of Hoffa"

Over the weekend, in a warm-up speech in Detroit, Jimmy Hoffa, repeatedly used violent rhetoric in reference to the Tea Party Movement.  Even Vice President Joe Biden has done so, calling Tea Party supporters "terrorists" for opposing the will of Mr. Obama.

According to a FoxNews report, Mr. Hoffa said,
Cranking up the anti-Tea Party rhetoric, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa called on workers to “take these son-of-a-bitches out” as he warmed up a crowd Monday in Detroit ahead of President Obama’s Labor Day speech.
The rhetoric coming from speakers at the event was already heated before Hoffa took the stage. Hoffa then declared there’s a “war on workers” and vowed that organized labor would “remember in November” which lawmakers were opposing the president’s agenda.
Mr. Obama is reported to have said that,
We are proud of . . . Teamster President Jimmy Hoffa,” who along with Michigan liberal Congressmen, Senators, and union officials “who are working every single day with your state and local elected officials to create jobs and economic growth and prosperity here in Michigan and across the country.”
Which along with all sorts of  ducking an weaving by the DNC chair, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz,

...goes to show that all the denunciations of the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, et al, that was said by liberals right after Congresswoman Giffords and 20 others were shot in Arizona in January was just outright bullshit and political manuvering.

UPDATE:  Jay Carney, Obama's press secretary, resfuse to condemn Mr. Hoffa's comments, saying,
“Those weren’t comments by the president … he didn’t hear it, I don’t have any comment beyond that,” Carney said in response to questions from ABC’s Jake Tapper. “Mr. Hoffa speaks for himself, he speaks for the labor movement,”
In January, following the attempted murder of Arizona Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, Obama called for greater civility. “At a time when our discourse has become so sharply polarized — at a time when we are far too eager to lay the blame for all that ails the world at the feet of those who think differently than we do — it’s important for us to pause for a moment and make sure that we are talking with each other in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds,” Obama declared.

When Tapper asked if Obama believed those words, Carney responded, “Of course he did.”

Carney also declined to answer Tapper’s question about whether Carney’s refusal to comment on Hoffa’s statements “changes the standard” for judging the statements and actions of a politician’s supporters.
“The standard is that we should focus on the actions we can take to grow the economy and create jobs, instead of focusing on [political] theater,” Carney replied.
At least Jake Tapper knows a double standard when he sees one.

UPDATE 2:  Here's video of the leftwingnut Keith Olberman, castigating ...well...everyone who is tossing Democrat's hypocrisy in their faces:
