Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Governement Controled Health Care: "I Hope You Die"

Rush Limbaugh is in the hospital with chest pains...in the Politico.com story, it only took the 12th commenter to state "I hope you die." These are the people who will be in control of our health care. Already people are worried that if they take positions that are unpopular with the government and have spoken out against policies, that if they need life-or-death health decisions, that decision would go against them based on their political beliefs...
Rush Limbaugh has said on his show many times that once the government runs health care, there is a threat that life-or-death decisions will be made based on politics, and people will worry that if they criticize the government or espouse the wrong opinions decisions will go against them.
UPDATE: When I went back to Politico.com's story...all of the negative comments had disappeared! Imagine that!
