Ms. Althouse, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. YOU! Voted for this man, now he wants to take from you. You were stupid and naive to think that he wouldn't raid your pocket to give to the poor. Dozens of bloggers tried to tell you his was the most liberal voting record in the US and Illinois Senates. Many people tried to tell you who he really was, but you refused to listen. Glenn Reynolds and other tried to tell you just who the people he associated with professionally and personally over the past 25years were.
Instead, you bought the "hopey-changey" line of bull shit that he was throwing around. Unforntunately, now the rest of us have to pay for it as well. Quit crying that his hand is now in your pocket and try to get fiscally conservative (notice I didn't say Republicans--they've betrayed America just as much as the Dems) men and women elected to Congress, and overturn what you have wrought.
