No one provokes me with impunity

Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Liberal Hypocracy in Action

Mr. Gore like many of his ilk, have pretensions of telling you how to live your life...while buying indulgenses (oh, I'm sorry "offsets"). Where I come from that's called hypocracy. Mr. Gore is a hypocrit, plain and simple. There is no defense. What pisses me off is that Mr. Gore concept is do as I say, not as I do...

Indulgenses brought about the Reformation at the end of the middle ages...think about that. By salving his conscience...purchasing "carbon offsets" Mr. Gore can do as he pleases, all the while lecturing the peasants that they must purchase energy efficient cars and appliances. Typical circular thinking...I call it for what it is...BULLSHIT!
