NAACP Showing Racism Itself

NAACP who recently condemned the Tea Party Movement as being racist is caught with their pants down cheering a USDA official who cost a white Georgia farmer his home, his farm and his family's livelyhood. 

Andrew Breitbart announced that he would publish at least one video of the NAACP itself cheering racism. Breitbart delivers on that promise today at Big Government, showing USDA official Shirley Sherrod explain to an appreciative NAACP audience in July 2009 how she deliberately withheld information from a white farmer in Georgia trying to save his land and his business:

Far from being a post-raicial presidency, this administration and it's loyal minions are undoing the work of an entire generation...they have in the course of a few short months undone the work of the past 50 years.  This nation is now as polarized as it was at the height of the 1960's prior to the asssasination of Martin Luther King, Jr.  Far from being proud, the NAACP, which was founded by 2 jewish lawyer and to black lawyers in 1905, they should be ashamed of what they have done over the past 5 years.

Everyone would agree to discrimnate against someone just because of their race is wrong. If someone voted for a white candidate just because they were white, they would be labeled a racist. UPDATE:   Here is an important commentary on this whole thing: 

One thing about the NAACP video of Shirley Sherrod…that nobody is mentioning.

Look at the crowd reaction when she says this. Is there shock? Is there disgust? Is there anger? Nope, they are with her all the way.

That says more about the NAACP than anything Sherrod did. The NAACP didn’t reject Shirley Sherrod that night or last week because they never had a problem with what she said.

If Andrew Brietbart didn’t put out that video they would still be behind her. The only reason why Ben Jealous et/al have rejected Sherrod is because what she said to them behind closed doors in the past has been exposed to the general public. It is the same as Barack Obama and Rev Wright, if those videos of Wright didn’t exist he would be a regular guest at the White House today.

It would be very interesting to find people in that crowd and ask them if they had a problem with what she said when she said it.

Indeed, look closely at the audience's reaction...it's complete agreement and approval.

Breibart to Eric Holder, US Atty Gen...Investigate ACORN

Breitbart: There’s a lot of hypocrisy and the dust has settled for ACORN and at the end of the day they’ve recognized that Eric Holder, the Attorney General, has not initiated an investigation into ACORN after we now have seven tapes. There were five initially that came out, ACORN was defunded by the Senate, was defunded by the House, lost it’s link to the Census; while all that damage occurred, Congress didn’t come in to investigate them, obviously not the Attorney General’s office, and they’ve now realized let’s get back into business because they realized that the dust settled and they were not being investigated, it was Hannah, James, and me who were being investigated, that’s why we’ve been forced to offer this latest tape.

Hannity: Are you saying, Andrew, that there are more tapes?

Breitbart: Oh my goodness there are! Not only are there more tapes, it’s not just ACORN. And this message is to Attorney General Holder: I want you to know that we have more tapes, it’s not just ACORN, and we’re going to hold out until the next election cycle, or else if you want to do a clean investigation, we will give you the rest of what we have, we will comply with you, we will give you the documentation we have from countless ACORN whistleblowers who want to come forward but are fearful of this organization and the retribution that they fear that this is a dangerous organization. So if you get into an investigation, we will give you the tapes; if you don’t give us the tapes, we will revisit these tapes come election time.

Hannity: This is a blockbuster, what you’re saying here. You guys have more tapes, you’ll release them before the election, that could have a big impact on the election, obviously…

I'd call this a line in the sand...investigate NOW or we'll begin to release tapes just before the election in November 2010. I'd love to see Mr. Breibart do just that...it would give a royal screwing to the Democratic Party. After all, they are the party of ACORN. Any significant damage to ACORN will almost certainly splash all over the Dems...as well as the Dem in Chief, Barack Obama.

I wonder just how closely his campaign and ACORN worked in the past election cycle. I've heard rumours that is was a very close relationship. I don't know how close, but if what I've been hearing murmurs of, ACORN worked in conjunction with Obama and was given access to his maxed out donor's list so that they could solicit funds to be used as additional campaign dollars. I'd love to see an investigation into that, though I doubt it will happen.

ACORN's been caught lying by Breibart once again. Hit the video link for biggovernment.com's embedded video or cut and past for the youtube.com version. Once again, Major Media has failed to adequately vet Bertha Lewis during the many interviews she's granted over the past several months. Her claims that Ms. Giles and Mr. O'Keefe were turned away from dozens of cites like New York, Philadelphia, San Diego are shown to be out right lies. When will the MSM realize that they are NOT doing their jobs? This is why FoxNews has such a huge lead in ratings over CNN & MSNBC, NBC, ABC and CBS.

The NYTimes, WaPo and Philly Inquirer have all posted stories claiming that Ms. Giles and Mr. O'Keefe were thrown out of the Philly ACORN office after 5 minutes to be a lie. The 26 minutes of video as well as an additional 6 minutes of audio (the batteries on the vidcam ran low, losing the video, while retaining audio), give lie to those stories. Will these "reputable" news organizations print corrections to their incorrect reports? I seriously doubt it.

ACORN is a corrupt and crooked organization that should be fully investigated, but won't be as the Justice Department has become far too politicized to do so under the present AG, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder is far more likely to investigate Giles & O'Keefe for violating the civil rights of the (mostly, now) former employees of ACORN who illegally attempted to assist a pimp and prostitute start a bordello with under age illegal aliens, especially considering Mr. Obama's close connection with the corrupt ballot stuffing initiatives that ACORN sponsors. Mores the pity...

Rules for counter-radicals is the title of a post on National Review. It's by Kathryn Jean Lopez, and is probably one of the best descriptions of what Andrew Breiibart is doing. He's taken a page from Saul Alinski, and using them against the far left. It's really rather amazing actually. Great article...read the whole thing.
