If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Saul David
Alinsky (January 30, 1909-June 12, 1972) was an American community organizer and
writer. He is generally considered to be the founder of modern community
organizing. He is often noted for his book Rules for Radicals. From that book here
are Saul's thoughts on how to create a social state:
There are 8 levels of
control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The
first is the most important.
1) Healthcare
–
Control healthcare and you control the people
2) Poverty
–
Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to
control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to
live.
3) Debt
–
Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase
taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control
–
Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are
able to create a police state.
5) Welfare
– Take
control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)
6) Education
– Take
control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn
in school.
7) Religion
–
Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools.
8) Class Warfare
–
Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent
and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the
poor.
It's about time we turned the Left's weapons against them. Last week's RNC Convention did just that. Clint Eastwood in a brilliantly delivered "rambling speech" (as an actor, I suspect that the delivery was on purpose). He used Rule 5...ridicule your oponent. Just for shits and grins, and not having to read through all of Alinsky's crypto communistic bulllshit, here are the "rules":
RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.
RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.
RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.
RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.
RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.
RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.
It's well past time we use this "rules" to finish off what's left of the Liberal Left...pun intended. With the media all in on keeping Obama in office, we should use those tools they've used on us for the past 50 years.
The MSM is against conservatives in a visceral fashion...here's a great example...
The MSM has a hatred of conservatives...and will do what ever than can to ensure that their preferred GOP candidate, Mitt Romney, wins the GOP primaries...but...Newt has the balls to fight back. I"m not a very big fan of his, but he has the stones to kick the media in the teeth. That's why he won the South Carolina primary.
After having watched this administration in operation over the past 15 months, I now believe that they are using the following "rules" as guidelines towards any one who opposes them:
...Always remember the first rule of power tactics: Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
...The second rule is: Never go outside the experience of your people.
...The third rule is: Whereever possible go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.
...the fourth rule is: Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.
...the fourth rule carries within it the fifth rule: Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.
...the sixth rule is: A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.
...the seventh rule is: A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.
...the eighth rule: Keep the pressure on.
...the ninth rule: The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
...The tenth rule: The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.
...The eleventh rule is: If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside.
...The twelth rule: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.
...The thirteenth rule: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. -- P.126-129 Alinski's Rules For Radicals
Ever since last spring when the first stirrings of opposition to their agenda, the Obama Administration has followed these basic tenents against what has become the Tea Party Movement. All along this administration has attempted first to ridicule it (i.e. "tea baggers"), then to label it as a "violent right wing movement", followed by the final rule above.
Unfortunately, just about all the violence has stemmed from SEIU thugs assaulting various people in the Tea Party Movement...most recently in New Orleans where a
female political operative named Allee Bautsch and her boyfriend, Joe Brown, were attacked and seriously injured by a vicious group of crazed cowards who shrieked insults while pouncing. After the pummeling, the petite woman and her boyfriend were left, collectively, with a compound leg fracture, a concussion, a broken nose and broken jaw. Here’s part of the police report:
Then of course there is the case of Kenneth Gladney in St. Louis, MO who was attacked by purple shirt wearing SEIU thugs, here's a video of that assault:
So far, in the past 15 months...all of the political violence has stemmed from the left, not the right, despite the legacy media and the Obama Administration's attempts to frame it otherwise.
Rules for counter-radicals is the title of a post on National Review. It's by Kathryn Jean Lopez, and is probably one of the best descriptions of what Andrew Breiibart is doing. He's taken a page from Saul Alinski, and using them against the far left. It's really rather amazing actually. Great article...read the whole thing.
