Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Thank You

I would like to thank everyone who donated money last week. Cheri and I were shocked at the outpouring of generosity. I had hoped for enough to keep our heads above water, so to speak, but everyone's kindness was well beyond what I  could have possibly hoped. It was enough for us to move to where I can find work. Over the next few weeks, as we get settled in, I will be thanking each of you personally.

Help Requested!

I lost my job three weeks ago. When I applied for unemployment I was informed that I owed $1654.00 from overpayment 5 years ago. That was because when I shut my cabinetshop down, I didn't know that the unemployment insurance I was paying didn't apply to me, the owner, and I applied for it...so, I received a bit over $5,000.00 in unemployment that I was not entitled to. I was able to scrimp and save over the years and pay it down to the above amount.

To heap insult on injury our phones are turned off and we lost cable/internet today. I'm sitting in Panera borrowing their internet connection...

To make a long story short. i will be evicted from my apartment on Christmas week (there's some irony there), if I don't raise $2,500.00 in back rent and penalties. My wife has been out of work for almost five years...when Office Depot cut back in it's assistant managers...

We're pretty desperate.  I have about 10 days to either find work, or scrap up the money. We will move anywhere anyone needs a cabinetmaker/trim carpenter with 16 years experience.

We have for the first time in our lives applied for housing assistance, and all the other crap the government uses to make slaves of us all. Hopefully, something will come through, in the mean time, I am asking for help from any one who reads this.

I would like to thank President Obama for flooding the market with illegal workers who will displace even more American citizens. I suspect that as I work (or used to) that I won't be able to find work in the metro-Baltimore area. I would LOVE to move to Texas, where the economy is booming, but I doubt that I'll ever be able to afford to do so.

So please, if you can afford to do so, hit the paypal button on the right side of the screen...every penny will help.

Out of Work, Out of Luck, Out of money...and hope fades...

Anyone anywhere (if I have to beg, might was well beg for help from a 'red state') who needs a cabinetmaker/trim carpenter and is willing to help with relocation expenses. My wife and I  are about to lose our apartment (lost the house in Dec 2008) and are just about out of hope. Cheri's not been able to find steady work since Spring of 2008, and I work in construction/manufacturing, an industry that has been devastated by the huge influx of illegals.

I have sixteen years experience in commercial and residential custom cabinetry, countertop manufacture and installation.  I have training and experience in all facets of the industry.  In connection with this I have completed two apprenticeships, the first being a State of Florida vocational-technical school, a one year full-time apprenticeship in carpentry and cabinetry  with well over one thousand hours of classroom and hands-on instruction.  The second being a more traditional apprenticeship to a high end, master craftsman who builds custom colonial furniture and specializes in hand-made reproductions of colonial furniture using traditional hand tools and techniques.

I can be reached via phone at 443.835 9949 or ravail136@aol.com to answer any questions you may have.  I am available for video interviews via Skype, as rvail136 on that free internet service.  References available upon request.
