When WIll Obama Be Held Accountable?
When will the JournoLists of the MSM finally hold Mr. Obama to the standard that he set at the beginning of this term? If not now, when?
By his own words, said three years ago, he's a failure and should be a one-term president. I hope in November, we can fulfill his request.

Obama's Political Career Launch
On October 15, 2011, Bill Ayres admits that Obama's political career was launched with a fund raiser at his house. If you remember, on October 15, 2008, Robert Gibbs following a debate with John McCain, catagorically denied to Chris Matthews during the "spin room" after debate that this event occured.
Who is lying? Bill Ayres? Or Robert Gibbs. Why would Ayres lie about something like this? When you take all of the other questionable associations of this president...ones that the MSM refused to cover, it begins to boggle the mind. When is the media going to do their job? They've already begun smearing every single GOP candidate, from Michelle Bachman to Mitt Romney (I'd link, but a simple google serach will give you far more info than I ever could)...that the MSM shows just how deeply in the tank for Obama they are, after all, they refused to cover his pastor of 20 years' inflamatory statements, even though Obama was clearly influenced.

Obama: Increasing US Debt Unpatriotic
During the 2008 campaign, candidate Obama called George Bush, "unpatriotic" for increasing the US Debt by $4 trillion dollars over 8 years
...“The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children,” Obama complained, ”driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents, [and] number 43 added $4 trillion dollars by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have now to pay back.”Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2011/11/17/obama-gop-unpatriotic-for-spending-and-for-not-spending/#ixzz1dxeDQYc7 ...but what does candidate Obama have to say to the hypocrisy of President Obama increasing the federal debt by $6 trillion dollars in under 3 years...crickets...

It looks like the useful idiots of the "centrist" MSM outlets are finally realizing that they...screwed up backing Obama in 2008. They fell in love with the idea of electing the "first black president," and instead of actually vetting him, gave him a pass on his lack of real credentials. Mark Steyn has an excellent column in Invester's Business Daily on this. Here's a quote:
"I'm a sap, a specific kind of sap. I'm an Obama Sap," admits David Brooks, the softest touch at the New York Times. Tina Brown, editor of Newsweek, now says of the president: "He wasn't ready, it turns out, really."...You would think this might prompt some sober reflection from an American mainstream media dying in part because of its dreary ideological conformity. After all, a key reason why 53% voted for a man who was not, in Tina Brown's word, "ready" is that Tina and all her pals assured us he was. Occidental, Columbia, Harvard Law, a little light community organizing, a couple of years timeserving in a state legislature: That's what America's elites regard as an impressive resume rather than a bleak indictment of contemporary notions of "accomplishment." Obama would not have withstood scrutiny in any society with a healthy, skeptical press. Yet, like the high-rolling Wall Street moneybags, they failed to do due diligence.Read the whole thing.

Dangers Of Deficit Spending
In the not too distant past, a candidate for President warned America about the dangers of deficit spending...
I guess he didn't mean it.

Voter's Remorse: Bill McClellan Edition
Bill McClellan, a journalist with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has finally achieved voter remorse...in his column today, "I should have picked Hillary over Obama," he finally fesses up...
The media was so in love with the idea of electing the "first black president" that they failed miserably in thier constitutional mandate to fully vet all of the candidates. They have invested themselves in the success of this president, that his failure fully resides with them, the media. By not doing their jobs, and asking Mr. Obama any of the difficult questions, the horrendous vetting that they imposed upon all of the other candidates, excepting John Edwards, who is now being prosecuted for his alleged crimes, they have lost credibility with voters at large. Below is my response to his article above.
I was splashing around in Lake Michigan last week when the realization hit me like a wave — I was wrong about Barack Obama. I should have voted for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary three years ago.Unfortunately, for millions of people who didn't vote for Mr. Obama, we saw all those things that many are just now noticing. This man is unfit to sit as President of the United States. It's not about racism, I don't give a damn where you, or your ancestors came from, all I care about is that you are either citizen, or legal resident. If you are neither, then you don't belong here, and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Any one employing you should lose their business liscense and be fined as well, if not jailed. That being said, I believe that Mr. Obama is a legal citizen of the United States. But that's the only qualification he has for the office he holds.
At the time of the primary, the decision seemed easy. I saw in Obama the same qualities Jack Kerouac saw in Dean Moriarty in "On the Road." He was 'something new, long prophesied, long a-coming."
Hillary was not new. She represented the second act of "Billary," and I had tired of that play long before it ended its eight-year run.
So I voted for Obama in the primary and then again in the general election. I even left the election night party at the Pageant — a party with an open bar and filled with state legislators, union guys and other acquaintances — to go to the Chase Park Plaza, where the Obama people were celebrating. I knew almost nobody at that second party, but I was there when the networks declared that Obama was the next president. People cried and hugged. I got teary myself. A black president. The times they are a-changing.
Indeed. They keep getting worse.
Dear Mr. McClellan,
I'm glad to see that you have "voter's remorse" over your choice for President in 2008. Many of us tried, and tried to tell people like yourself that Mr. Obama was unfit to be president...none of you listened and now we have to pay the price.
My business too failed. Chisel & Plane was a small cabinet shop in Pikesville, Maryland, just outside of Baltimore city. Most of my neighbors drank the Kool-Aide and voted for Mr. Obama as well. Several have since told me that I was right...unfortunately, it's too late for thousands of businesses.
Hopefully, you'll go against the media's bias and begin to actually ask some of those difficult questions that the media has so far refused to ask. Where is the transparency Mr. Obama promised? He claims to have all sorts of plans, yet absolutely refuses to produce them. why? I hope that you have learned from your mistake. I know that I'm paying for it. I lost my business, my home and nearly my marriage to this depression we're suffering from. Perhaps, you too will be hurt...but I doubt it.
The time has come for our government to start living within it's means and not spending money we don't have. Since 2007, when the Democratic Party took control of Congress, and produced Mr. Bush's largest deficit, some $400 million dollars that year, Democratic control has added nearly $5,000,000,000,000.00 to the debt, that's 1/3rd of the total. It took us some 230 years to produce the rest, but only 4 years to add that much. Spending must be curbed, Keynesian economics has clearly failed.
The time of huge deficits is over. Our great grand children will be paying for our selfishness, to their dismay. The historian that once I was, laments this fact. You have a voice, and a bully pulpit, I hope that you'll use it wisely, though I suspect not.
Sincerely,
Richard A. Vail
Pikesville, Maryland

A View From Alaska
I'd heard about this blog post, but never took the time to run it down. I finally did and I'm glad I took the time. What's really a shame is that the McCain Campaign in 2008 didn't give more publicity to Mrs. Palin during the last 2 months prior to the election. That gave the media time to create a narrative (see JournoList to see just how much they collaborated). Here's a view of Mrs. Palin by one of her constituents. Here's the only link I could find. Mr. Whetsel's blog is no longer active...but here's a link to a facebook page
"The last 45 of my 66 years I've spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska. I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year. Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets It's not about persona, style, rhetoric, its about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I'm about to mention here.
1- Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governors office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republicans Corrupt Bastards Club (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits. The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing la la la la (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar. But while you're thinking, I'll continue.
2- Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So, she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called ACES. Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out. They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.
3- The other thing she did when she walked into the governors office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as pork. She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the when-hell-freezes-over stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, well pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governors jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor's cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning, I imagine, that she's packing heat herself). I'm still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.
4- Now, even with her much-ridiculed gosh and golly mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.
5- For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn't start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. This summer, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again.
6- President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewables by 2025. We are already at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona . Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool. But that’s just a cover-up. I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what mine has done in two and a half years. I won’t be holding my breath.
By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn't let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda. Without warning, it will spin around and tear your face off. Shoulda known better. It's a shame that the GOP allowed the liberal MSM to control the message-image of Mrs. Palin, that's yet another thing about the GOP that I'll not soon forgive.

JounoList = SociaList
You can find an excellent breakdown of 106 members of the JournoList and their professional and political affiliations here. With the passage of time, it's becoming more and more obvious that JournoList was more than just a place "progressives" could go for like minded conversations. It was a place for the "unofficial campaign" to control the media message for Barack Obama to congregate and plan strategy for the 2008 election camapaign. Since then, it had been used as a clearing house for talking points and plotting strategy for the Obama Agenda.

2008 Election Facts
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, in St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning last November's Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13..2 McCain: 2.1
Professor Olson adds:

Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13..2 McCain: 2.1
Professor Olson adds:
"In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.
Obama territory, mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.
