Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Operation Fast & Furious: Funded With Stimulus Money

In yet another damaging relevation in the now unraveling of Operation Gunwalker, Operation Fast & Furious, it appears that "Stimulus Package" money was used to fund these two rogue operations.  In other words, our debt funded the murders of hundreds including 2 US Federal Agents.  Reports are surfacing that neary $50 milliond dollars was spent on the programs that have killed more than 1,500 Mexican nationals, including dozens upon dozens of government officials, judges, prosecutors and police officers as well as several US Federal Agents.

To make matters worse, it now appears that more than 1,000 firearms were smuggled to Honduras via MS-13, the ruthless gang based in that country.
Leaders of the transnational organized criminal gang Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) even ordered a hit on a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in New York.

There are now reports that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Tampa Field Division, ran a gun-running investigation that was walking guns to Honduras using the techniques and tactics identical to Fast and Furious. 1,000 of those guns were sold to MS13 buyers.
It's time that a special prosecutor be named to finish unravelling this mess...especially since the Mexican government is now pressing for extradition of those who are responsible to face trial in Mexico on conspiracy to commit-aid and abet-murder.  More here.  A Leftist's take here.

It won't happen...because it's a Democratic administration and the MSM is so far in the tank they don't-refuse to report anything negative...but, the ATF-FBI-Justice Dept scam has directly caused the deaths of hundreds of people, and those who came up this the insanity must be held accountable, either at the bar of law here...or in Mexico.

New Black Panther Party: DoJ Voting Rights of Non-Minorities Not A Priority of Obama Administration

Here's and earth shattering article in the Washington Times by J. Christian Adams, who was the lead Department of Justice career attorney assigned to the Voting Rights section,  He is now based in Virginia after having sacrificed his career by daring to prosecute this case. He now blogs at http://electionlawcenter.com/. the politization of the Department of Justice in the Obama Administration.  Through out the Bush Administration the liberal media accused that administration "politicizing" the DoJ...now we have a clearcut example of DoJ dismissing a case against the New Black Panther Party for threatening violence toward whites in Philadelphia who went to vote.  Their reasoning is that,
Some of my co-workers argued that the law should not be used against black wrongdoers because of the long history of slavery and segregation. Less charitable individuals called it "payback time."
Incredibly, this is being abetted at the highest levels of the department.
Most disturbing, the dismissal is part of a creeping lawlessness infusing our government institutions. Citizens would be shocked to learn about the open and pervasive hostility within the Justice Department to bringing civil rights cases against nonwhite defendants on behalf of white victims. Equal enforcement of justice is not a priority of this administration. Open contempt is voiced for these types of cases...Incredibly, after the case was dismissed, instructions were given that no more cases against racial minorities like the Black Panther case would be brought by the Voting Section.

Refusing to enforce the law equally means some citizens are protected by the law while others are left to be victimized, depending on their race. Core American principles of equality before the law and freedom from racial discrimination are at risk. Hopefully, equal enforcement of the law is still a point of bipartisan, if not universal, agreement. However, after my experience with the New Black Panther dismissal and the attitudes held by officials in the Civil Rights Division, I am beginning to fear the era of agreement over these core American principles has passed.
This administration is setting up a system wherein non-minority voters can...and will be intimidated at the polls.  Our system has worked so well because, by and large, it's reasonably honest.  While there have been irregularities in some cities (Chicago for instance where the dead vote...often), for the most part, it's an honest system.  If it's permitted to be perverted, and enabled by this administration then the rule of law will be set aside and rule by totalitarian means can't be far away.  Is this the way we want our country to function?  I sure don't.  What do you think?

Atty Gen Eric Holder's Civil Rights Nominee, Thomas Perez

Thomas Perez is the "career" attorney (from the Office of Professional Responsibility) who recommended to the present Attorney General, to dismiss the case against the New Black Panther Party's voter intimidation case. This despite the simple fact that there is undeniable evidence both video and eye witness, that the member of the NBPP indeed force white voters away from the polls in last November's election.

Former Justice Dep attorney Hans von Spakovsky explains:

Given the nature of the personnel who populate OPR, there is good reason to doubt that a real investigation will occur. Many of the career lawyers at OPR are as liberal and partisan as the lawyers who work in the Civil Rights Division. The report they issued in conjunction with the inspector general on supposed “political” hiring in the division was chock full of bias, inaccuracies, gross exaggerations, and deliberate misrepresentations of both facts and the law. Not only was the OPR attorney assigned to that investigation a liberal former Civil Rights Division lawyer, but the (now former) head of OPR who orchestrated this agitprop, Marshall Jarrett, was rewarded by Eric Holder when he became attorney general: Jarrett was made head of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, a plum post that usually goes to a political appointee.

So who has the new head of OPR assigned to “investigate” the Civil Rights Division’s improper dismissal of this case? According to the letter she sent over to Congressman Smith, it is a career lawyer named Mary Aubry. Despite her modest government salary, Aubry contributed $3,850 to Obama’s campaign and victory fund, not to mention the $2,500 she has given to the DNC or the $1,000 she gave to Hillary Clinton. So a woman who has given $7,350(!) to the current president and other Democrats is going to be the chief investigator tasked with determining whether the president’s political appointees at Justice (such as Associate Attorney General Tom Perrelli) acted unprofessionally when they dismissed this case. Perhaps we will all be pleasantly surprised; but given that politics has driven almost every recent action by Justice, I doubt it.

I hope the the Republicans in the Senate will block this appointment until the NBPP case is reopened and those individuals who were indicted are prosecuted fully for their crimes.
