Terrorism Is War: Newt Is Right

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Terrorism is a tactic, not an entity. Terrorism has and will always existed. To declare war on Terrorism is a way of insuring un ending wars and the erosion of the civil liberties that form the basis of a free society. A big & intrusive gov't is the result. 1776 was faught to prevent 1984. We are no longer the shining city on a hill, but a global power that meddles in the internal affairs of sovereign states, breeding terrorism and animosity. Newt gets the power. That's it.
