If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Bob Hope, USO Tribute

Here's video compilation of Bob Hope, literally all around the world...entertaining US GI's...for not one thin dime. He did it for free, and often paid the salaries of the supporting casts...there'll never be another like him. More's the pity on that. He never asked for publicity for his USO tours, unlike today's celebrities, who demand it "look what I"m doing for the troops..."

Bob Hope, one hell of an American. My father has a $2 bill signed by Hope, Winston Churchill, Dwight Eisenhower, Geo. Patton and a number of others...whom he flew around during the war. He died in 1997, and that $2 bill was always in his wallet.
