Nemo me impune lacessit

No one provokes me with impunity

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

10 Ways to Reduce Government Spending

Here are 10 suggestions to reduce the deficit produce a balanced budget.

  1. Eliminate all ethanol subsidies (and ALL farm subsidies).
  2. Eliminate all windmill subsidies.
  3. Cut EPA’s budget 50%.
  4. Eliminate the FCC.
  5. Eliminate the NEA.
  6. Eliminate public broadcasting money.
  7. Eliminate the Dept  of Education.
  8. Across the board 20% cut in funding.
I'm leaving spots 9 and 10 open for your suggestions.  Here are a couple of more.

But the best suggestion of all is that if (when) Congress fails to pass a balanced budget by the first day of the federal fiscal year, hold a special election 90 days later to replace all 535 of the worthless sonsabitches.  Another would be to end the full-time, year-round Congress.   Because they're there all year, they waste endless amounts of money.
