Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Union Is Hiring Non-Union Picketers to Picket Non-Union Job-site...

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters has hired non-union member to protest the work going on in a Washington DC building site
Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters is seeking paid demonstrators to march and chant in its current picket line outside the McPherson Building, an office complex here where the council says work is being done with nonunion labor.
...as a member of the above said union, this is the first I"ve heard of any protest going on in DC.  But then, the Mid-Atlantic Council is a pretty lame union.  The shop steward at the last shop I worked at was appointed by the Production Manager of the company and not elected by the workers of the shop, per union rules...and the Hall Business Agent permitted this man to continue as shop steward, FOR YEARS.

Local 491,
Baltimore District,
Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters,
801 W. Patapsco Avenue,
Baltimore, Maryland 21230,
410-355-5555

is the address and phone number of the Baltimore Hall...feel free to call them and let them know  what you thnk about them hiring non-union members to protest at a non-union work site and a company that hires non-union workers...you just can't make this stuff up.
