No one provokes me with impunity

Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

From an email...

America loves the story of the underdog winning. It’s been that way since the fight to break away from England.

But watch out, when the underdog starts to take the lead, then the nay Sayers take that opportunity to plan a sneak attack – and to destroy.

That is what is happening to the Tea Party movement. If they are not careful, their enemies will destroy them. Now is the time to be vigilant. The heat will now be turned up by their opponents as they smell blood and it is the correct time to attack and destroy.

Isn't it incredible that the most "ungifted" members of society are the first to denigrate the most "gifted". Jealously is such a curse, or as my mother warned me in my youth, "empty barrels make the most noise"!
