If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Supreme Court Upholds 2nd Amendment As Personal Right

I've just finished reading the McDonald vs City of Chicago.  On first reading it seems that 2nd Amendment Binds State and Local Governments, through the 14th Amendment.  Since the Chicago ordinance is almost exactly the same as the DC ordinance that was struck down in Heller last year.  This is a clear victory on the road to guarantee that our government doesn't have the ability to disarm the populace...which is what the liberal left has been attempting to do for decades.
