No one provokes me with impunity

Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Woody Allen on Obama: He Should Be A Dictator

Just when you think that movie stars can't get any dumber or say something really stupid, you have someone like Woody Allen jump up on a soap box.  Mr Allen was quoted as saying in a Spanish-language magazine called La Vanguardia,
"It would be good...if (Obama) could be dictator for a few years because he could do a lot of good things quickly," Allen is quoted as saying.

Allen is also said to have said:  I am pleased with Obama. I think he is brilliant. The Republican Party should get out of his way and stop trying to hurt him.
However, the Obama agenda is only partially enacted, with healthcare and the economy now under government control (at least auto manufacturing and health care--1/5 of the total economy) we shoould just allow Mr. Obama to do as Julius Caesar did...and start an empire headed by himself...
