If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Drink Buying Etiquette

Here's a link to a great story on what it's like to be a guy in a bar...while I'm a bit older than they guy who wrote the story, it's still apt to middle aged folk. It used to annoy me in my younger days as a student (on the I pay my own way 15 year plan) trying to make enough money for tuition (no loans here), when I'd go to the bars near campus and girls would do much as in this story: demand you buy them a drink...then blow you off. The guys answer and reasoning is impecable
