No one provokes me with impunity

Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

To Waterboard Or Not To Waterboard

That is the question.

Personally, I think that whenever we catch a member of Al Quiada, we need to use the most vigourous techniques possible to learn whatever we can from them. If it takes pulling out finger nails, then so be it.

The truly dismal news is that now Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab is going to be tried in civilians courts, he's "lawyered up"...which means we aren't going to get another jot of information out of him. This man isn't an American citizen, and he committed an act of war against this country...we need to know what he knows and we need it now. Not 4 years from now when his attorney, having put off his trial for an interminable period, wants to make a plea deal...so the choice of trying terrorist on our court system is stupid beyond belief.

Mr. Obama is far worse for this country than James Earl Carter ever was.
