No one provokes me with impunity

Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Rahm Emmanuel Is On The Way Out

Rahm Emanuel, Obama's Chief of Staff is out of a job. A friend of mine just gave me the information that the Democrat's loss in Massachusetts yesterday has cost Emanuel his job. It was the last straw. He's had an abrasive reputation in the House while he was a Congressman and his fits of temper have made him difficult to work with. So yesterday's loss when combined with the losses in the Gubernatorial elections last November caused MR. Obama too much embarrassment.

Mr. Obama is apparently pissed and thinks Emanuel has misguided the White House with poor advice. I am told that Mr. Emanuel will be out of a job by the November elections.  Richard Daley of Chicago will retire after this term, and Mr. Emanuel will then run for mayor...

And another one bites the dust.
