Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Obama's Plunging Poll Numbes

This week Mr. Obama's Approval/Disapproval rates crossed. With an approval rate of 47% and a disapproval rate of 51%, his numbers are the worst for the past 11 presidents. Additionally, his numbers have hit the lowest point of any president at this point in his administration since polling of this nature began in 1936. His spokesman, Robert Gibbs had this to say in response to Jake Tapper now of Fox News,
"If I was a heart patient and Gallup was my EKG, I'd visit my doctor," Gibbs said in response to questions from Fox. "I'm sure a six-year-old with a Crayon could do something not unlike that. I don't put a lot of stake in, never have, in the EKG that is daily Gallup trend. I don't pay a lot of attention to the meaninglessness of it."
On the other hand, during that last campaign, his advisor,
David Plouffe, trumpeted "the latest Gallup poll" to reporters because it showed that 53 percent of Americans did not find Obama Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, "trustworthy."
Here are the Gallup Poll numbers after 10 1/2 months in office for the previous 11 President in reverse order:

-- George W. Bush, 86 percent
-- Bill Clinton, 52 percent
-- George H.W. Bush, 71 percent
-- Ronald Reagan, 49 percent
-- Jimmy Carter, 57 percent
-- Gerald Ford, 52 percent
-- Richard Nixon, 59 percent
-- Lyndon Johnson, 74 percent
-- John Kennedy, 77 percent
-- Dwight Eisenhower, 69 percent
-- Harry Truman, 49 percent

Ooooh, now I have a tingle up MY leg! Yowza!

Of course his numbers are dropping, because, gasp!, America is waking up!

But, but, but, he's the Chosen One, he's Obama, he's our Hope and Change! If only you mean, old right-wingers and your hate-filled talk radio hosts would stop telling lies about him! Wah-wah-wah...

Long Live the Republic. Truly.
