If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

Glenn Reynolds Book List

I have to admit, I'm envious of Glenn Reynolds' (www.instapundit.com) book review/reading list. The man gets an incredible number of books to read/review. I could only wish to get my greedy hands on 1/10th as many. On my salary, I can't afford to buy even one new book a week...and living just outside of Baltimore, MD...there's a snowball's chance in hell of getting any of the conservative/libertarian titles, much less any of the sci-fi books...{big sigh}. I offered to pay the postage on is rejects...hope he'll go for it.
