If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

8/10ths Of A Trillion Dollars

That's how much Bachus' bill will cost this country over a ten year period. I am not sure we can afford any of these bills now before Congress. The Country is nearly out of money, yet the spend, spend, spend Congress wants to spend even more. When will they stop?
Reporting from Washington - Senate Democrats pushing healthcare legislation received a boost from the Congressional Budget Office today as the much-watched nonpartisan agency estimated that a bill being debated by the Senate Finance Committee would cost $829 billion over the next decade.

For this huge expenditure, it would only increase health insurance coverage by 11%. Have these people no sense?
At the same time, the bill would expand the percentage of Americans with health insurance from 83% to 94% over the next decade, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Gosh I'm so glad the liberals have this Health Care Reform thing handled so well. Truly.

I mean, if someone from the GOP wrote it and it passed, we would all have to die quickly as soon as we got sick.
