Article 1, Section 9, Constitution of the United States

If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

2 Million Show Up to Protest Spending

According to the London Daily Mail, 2,000,000 people showed up in Washington, D.C. to protest out of control Federal Govt spending. I would have loved to have been able to go. Do you realize, that's more than the estimated 1.5 million people who attended the inauguration of Mr. Obama?

If nothing else, it's one hell of an astro-turf job by FoxNews Channel! I mean, Glen Beck and Fox News must have spent millions to get that many paid political apparatchiks to appear for the Republican party. What do you think that says to Mrs Pelosi, Mr. Reid, et al? Will they listen? Probably not, time to recycle Congress, and vote them all out....left, right, moderate and start anew...

Rich, check this out:

This is the NYT take on today's rally in DC. They say thousands were there. Thousands? I was at the Promise Keepers rally in 1997 in DC, and while I am not an expert in this field, I have to say from the photos I've seen there were a LOT of "thousands" there today.

But, no, silly me, the NYT cannot say this. Obama was in Minnesota, remember? C'mon, Rich, get your priorities straight! Ha!

See ya, brother.
