If this is the law of the land...why in a republic (little r) and as republicans, do we allow mere POLITICIANS to the right to use a "title of office" for the rest of their lives as if it were de facto a patent of nobility. Because, as republicans, this should NOT be the case...just saying...

The Difference Twixt Liberal & Conservative Blogosphere

The real difference between a liberal mindset and a conservative mindset...

The left tends to consider itself as a "movement" and thus to look for those who stray from the progressive path. To want to produce conformity of message and inflict discipline upon those who don't harp fully to a liberal mindset and considers someone who disagrees with them as being stupid. There are of course exceptions to every rule.

The conservative side of the blogosphere on the otherhand seems to be more inclusive accepting differences on some points and linking to those that agree...or even looking for "converts" to their view and accepting that someone might have a different viewpoint on other issues.

Found this quote by Ann Althouse...it's apt to my discussion, I'd link to it but haven't figured out how...I'd update the post, but don't know how to do that either...I'm still learning

bloggers on the right link to you when they agree and ignore the disagreements, and the bloggers on the left link only for the things they disagree with, to denounce you with short posts saying you're evil/stupid/crazy, and don't even seem to notice all the times you've written posts that take their side.
